The Property Unit is part of the Community Building Department.

Job Responsibilities

As a construction project manager, your main responsibility is to initiate, drive, and evaluate various construction projects, as well as to develop the processes, self-controls, and other regulations that govern our operations. You will also be responsible for parts of the overall development of our property maintenance, energy monitoring/optimization, and handling procurements. You will coordinate and plan the work of the operations technicians in close dialogue with them. Communication with our customers is a central part of the job.

Our operations are involved in many development projects, in close collaboration with other departments and politics. The department has recently initiated a comprehensive change and development effort, in which you are expected to participate actively.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in Construction Engineering or equivalent experience/education. The position requires that you are computer literate and that you master the Swedish language in both speech and writing. A driver's license for passenger cars (B driver's license) is a requirement.

Bergs Municipality is a Sámi administrative municipality, and we therefore consider it an advantage if you have knowledge of the South Sámi language and culture.

You are used to working both in a team and independently and can make your own decisions in daily work. You are structured and have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize both your work and that of others effectively. You need to have good communication skills and high efficiency in your work.
